Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Neuro-Linguistic Programming is a system of linguistic and mental tools that create rapid change to the way we think and feel. NLP does this by altering the ways that we represent our life experiences in our mind.
Every time we repeat a certain response, such as worrying about the future, the brain builds and strengthens neuronal pathways filled with worry. The stronger any particular neuronal pathway becomes, the more prevalent that pattern response becomes in us.
The more often we worry, for example, the stronger that patterns become over time. Even decades of ‘hoping it will go away’ and ‘positive thinking’ is highly unlikely to break such deep subconscious patterns.
Excessive anger, anxiety, depression, fear, guilt, worry, shame, etc. are all examples of patterns (subconscious programs) that become stronger each time we repeat them.
Using NLP, change is created by replacing outdated neural networks (thought patterns) with new empowering changes. The best way to create change is by positively reprogramming the subconscious mind.
Emotional Freedom Technique – EFT
Developed in 1984, EFT is a safe and gentle form of energy psychology that is recommended by the American Psychiatric Association. Like acupuncture, EFT is a meridian-based therapy, but with EFT, there are no needles and draws on various theories including neuro-linguistic programming and energy work.
EFT is a set of techniques for the skillful application of tapping. EFT walks along side. EFT does not push, pull or lead. EFT gives back a person’s exact words. EFT Does not suggest, advise, manipulate or seek to influence the client. The EFT techniques use words to tune in and tapping to clear. Tapping is the lubricant inside the can; the words are the straw that gets the lubricant to the target.
When using EFT, we clear the energy disturbance of the memory such that it is not forgotten but does not have to be remembered in the same way. The memory becomes something of the past and no longer has an effect in the present. We clear that experience from our conditioning.
The combination of an emphasis on the issue while tapping spontaneously and permanently releases it from the body-mind. With EFT, longstanding issues and past traumas that have been causing pain for years, and even decades, can be released in as little as one session.
Mindfulness Stressed Based Reduction
Mindfulness-based stress reduction exercises and techniques help reduce anxious and stressful feelings. Mind-body exercises work well because as you put your attention on your breath or another point of focus, you take yourself out of the past or future.
Reiki is a simple, effective, non-invasive, and powerful form of energy healing. Reiki involves a practitioner placing his or her hands directly above or lightly on the body (clients remain fully clothed), typically for 1-5 minutes in each position. Reiki accelerates the body’s innate healing abilities, strengthens the immune system, relieves pain, creates balance, clears toxins, enhances personal awareness, relaxes, promotes creativity, opens the heart, treats both symptoms and causes of illness, releases blocked and suppressed feelings, aids spiritual practice, and much more.
Reiki is used in prestigious hospitals throughout the world. It originated in Japan in the late 1800’s with a man named Mikao Usui. Reiki compliments all other forms of healing. You don’t need to be experiencing a challenge to greatly benefit from Reiki. Some clients schedule sessions simply for relaxation, spiritual rejuvenation, balancing, greater peace, heart opening, mental calm, and more.
